In-Home Care Services

Over the past 25 years, Kadan Homecare has become a preferred provider of in-home personal care, companion and nursing services. Whether helping a senior remain engaged and independent through gentle encouragement or providing services for hospice or post-surgery care, the compassionate interaction provided by Kadan Homecare will ensure the best possible results.

Because every client is unique and special, our programs accommodate a wide range of individual needs and lifestyles. We offer live-in and live-out, short- or long-term services. We can also build a program around a particular situation, for example, providing personal care or companionship services only on days when a family member won't be home.

Companion services are well suited to individuals who are independent but have difficulty maintaining the activity level they desire. Staying home with just the help you need

Personal care services are for those who benefit from an elevated level of assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, exercise and other personal activities. Many times, personal care services can mean the difference between staying in ones' home and moving to assisted living.

Personal Caregivers assist with (but are not limited to):

Bathing and hygiene Grooming and dressing
Toileting and Incontinence Care Assistance with Exercise, Range of Motion, Physical therapy and Occupational Therapy
Mobility, Ambulation and Transfers Meal Preparation and Feeding

Medical assistance from a skilled professional

Our highest level of care is private duty nursing, in which all clients are attended by a skilled LPN (licensed practical nurse) or an RN (registered nurse). Skilled nurses are medical professionals; as such they can provide medical assistance for which caregivers are not certified. These services are perfect for Alzheimer's or dementia patients that need to have medications dispensed for them; hospice or post-operative clients who may need wound care or other medical services, and anyone that would benefit from clinical observation and supervision. We match the licensure level of all nurses to the specific needs of each client.

Transitional care—specialized, coordinated care for a patient's transition to or from one facility to another or to their home — is an often overlooked service that can have a dramatic impact on a patient's well-being and outcome.
