Generations of Caring

Kadan Homecare was founded more than 25 years ago by Linda Kadan. Today, she and her team remain committed to her original mission—providing professional care in a safe and nurturing environment and a rich and meaningful life for seniors and other individuals who require assistance.

Linda Kadan

Founder & CEO

As CEO of Kadan Homecare, Linda Kadan's official role is develop and implement Kadan's overall operating strategy and to manage the provider's overall operations and resources. Unofficially, Kadan considers it her job and her life's work to help as many seniors as possible live with dignity and independence while giving their families complete peace of mind.

According to Kadan, the highlights of her 25+ year career in the industry have been "successfully doing something I truly love for so many years and meeting so many wonderful clients and caregivers." When Kadan graduated from Indiana University with a Master of Economics degree, she might not have imagined ending up as the CEO of a leading homecare provider. However, it's obvious she has found her calling.

Kadan is a member of the National Private Duty Association, the nation's first association for providers of private duty home care. The NPDA is the recognized resource for information and definition of private duty home care practice. It leads the industry that care for people at home through education and advocacy.

Dina Kadan White

Vice President

As Vice President of Kadan Homecare, White oversees the day-to-to day operations and assists with strategic planning for company. White has worked with Kadan full-time for the past 11 years, although she has been engaged with the family-run firm at some level for most of her adult life.

Prior to joining Kadan, White served as Director of Product Development at Equifax and previously was a Marketing Director with Wachovia. These jobs prepared her well for a position where she works for the benefit of all aspects of this highly client-focused agency.

White holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is a member of the National Private Duty Association, a membership organization for firms whose homecare model is to employ, train, monitor and supervise caregivers, create a plan of care for the client and work toward a safe and secure environment for the person at home. White is also a member of the National Association for Home Care and Hospice.

Kara Moody

Director of Client Services

Moody focuses on a wide range of processes and services that facilitate superior client relations. In this capacity, she oversees intake coordination, case management, referral tracking and billing and is also in charge of office management.

Moody, who has eight years of eldercare experience, has worked with elderly populations in a variety of settings including nursing homes and a residential facility for individuals with HIV/AIDS. Prior to joining Kadan, Moody worked as a Case Management Intern at Belle Reve in New Orleans.

Moody is a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW)—an elite group of fewer than 2,000 in the state of Georgia—a title that represents far more than education. After being granted a license, LMSW candidates are supervised and directed for two years by a specially trained, licensed professional. This oversight ensures the practitioner's clinical skills are fully developed and that their interactions with patients are of the highest quality.

Moody holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia in Athens (2004) and a Master of Social Work degree from Tulane University in New Orleans (2006).

Melissa S. LeBoeuf

Director of Community Relations

In her position as Director of Community Relations, Melissa LeBoeuf helps Kadan Homecare foster and maintain healthy, professional relationships and contact with its clients and the community to ensure excellent client satisfaction and service.

A big part of her job is education, where she helps the community, older adults and their families better understand the Private Duty industry and why "aging in place" solutions such as Kadan Homecare are so beneficial to the physical and mental health of seniors.

The position is a perfect fit for LeBoeuf, whose passion is working with the aging population and advocating for the concept that seniors can enjoy more rewarding lives while aging in place. At her previous position, Portsbridge Hospice, LeBouef spent 10 years specializing in community education and marketing management as Director of Assisted Living Services.

LeBoeuf has worked in the healthcare field for 17 years since attaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (1994). She is a charter member of NAIPC (National Aging In Place Council) and a member of Life Span Resources. She is also involved with multiple senior network groups throughout metro Atlanta.

When not educating and advocating for seniors and the value of aging in place, LeBoeuf enjoys quality time with her husband and two children, their golden retriever, and other family and friends. She loves travel and watching her children's sports activities, including soccer, baseball and football.
